EAST SIDE TREE TOP PIRUThe East Side Tree Top Piru (ESTTP) gang also known as South Side Bompton Piru (SSBP), or South Side Piru Gang (SSPG), formally addressed as the East Side Bompton Hustlers, is a tight-knit Piru coalition predominately African-American criminal street gang. It's origins come from Little Bighorn & Jamestown Street and is a set branched off under Tree Top Piru on the eastern side of Compton, hence the name East Side Tree Top Piru. Their neighborhood stretches from Roy Lowenstein Boulevard, across from the tracks to Little Bighorn Avenue. It's political gang ties are deeply rooted, having connections with W/S Tree Top Piru (TTP), Carson Avenue Piru(CAP), & Davis Avenue Piru (DAP). East Side Piru is the gang that backs the Touch Money Gang (TMG) alliance. A clique that operates in and out of Sacramento and Los Angeles. They were birthed during the late 1960s, originally known as the East Side Bompton Street Boys in its earliest notion. During the 1970s they were approached by the South Side Strawberry Hustlers to target a gang they both shared hatred for, which at the time was known as "Roy Lowenstein Hustlers". This led to them adding on the Hustlers moniker to their name. For the most part, this was short-lived, when a prominent member of the South Side Strawberry Hustlers Gang was murdered in a gang-related shooting. All fingers were pointed at the Bompton Street Boys, this sparked one of the earliest gang-induced wars. Compton became a gang hotbed during this time. As these rivalries continued, by the 1990s The Bompton Street Hustlers dropped their hustlers' affiliation and joined ties with the West Side Tree Top Pirus, which led to them adopting the "East Side Trees" alias. The disenfranchisement of their Hustler card is rooted from these rivalries, they did not see a need to remain under the Hustlers umbrella when they're constantly feuding with them. On the contrary of them renouncing their affiliation, their infrastructure remained intact for the most part. Nothing changed drastically, they still abide by the same hierarchy, vernacular, and traditions. Their feuds with the Neighborhood Crips or Rollin 0's are unmatched to any rivalry with any crip gang across Los Angeles. Despite their notorious engagements with Neighborhood Crip factions, they often had disputes with every other card under the Crip umbrella. This hatred prompted them to adopt the "Anybody Killer(ABK)" or "Everybody Killer(EBK)" mantra. The East Side Tree Top Piru Gang border another local street gang better known as Touch Money Gang, who occupy the furthest southern end of the Rancho Projects. The Touch Money Gang coalition has a violent history involving drug trafficking disputes and gang-influenced shootings. Touch Money Gang is a modern-day clique under the East Side Tree Top Pirus. Gang Fidelity, Adherence, & The FallFor the next two decades, the East Side Tree Top Piru and the neighboring Touch Money Gang would combat the surge of Compton Crips in an attempt to abolish their presence. Still, small in numbers, the two gangs fought fierce yet smart. It was brains over brawn. The East Side Trees and Touch Money Gang had made built an unbreakable relationship, some believed they were larger than what they were, even one large gang; which is eventually what they became. By this time, the public realized what the Trees really were, another street gang. What had remained of the Touch Money Gang had suggested an idea that would benefit the gang in the long-run, adopting the Piru ideology. Some of the literature was down-voted, but the structure and other beneficial aspects were adopted. Instead of being loose, the E/S Tree Top Piru Gang was organized. Instead of being reckless, the Trees were calculated on each play they took. With the help of the Touch Money Gang, T. Hillford a/k/a G-Money had built a pipeline that connected from Los Angeles and its two sister cities Paleto Bay and Grapeseed. This extended further than California, though; reaching Texas, all the way to Liberty City. Members had started branching out as well in hopes of financial gain. Los Angeles was too crowded, the competition was fierce so as a result, you'd have Tree Top Pirus popping up in said cities and others. The alliance between East Side Tree Top Piru and Touch Money Gang would be known as World Famous Pirus, due to their notoriety and allegiance with the gang it made sense. The golden age for the Piru Allegiance had met its end in the spring April '88, the Feds announced a major win to the city of Los Angeles. An arrest consisting of $8,000,000 in narcotics and the takedown of 82 people connected to the Tree Top Piru street gang. Of the indicted was nonother than Travis Hillford himself and several other high-ranking Tree Top members. Agents were able to seize heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and marijuana from locations within the city and Paleto Bay. To add to it all, high-powered weaponry had been confiscated, supposedly enough to arm a militia. In addition to facing numerous gang-related hits, this was going to ensure T. Hillford would only see the light of day unless it was on a level 4. The close to a decade long investigation was well worth the wait. From '86 to the 2000 millennium the Tree Top Pirus would be one of many gangs to take staggering losses from not only federal indictments but gang injunctions and such. Today East Side Tree Top is nothing more than what you'd see on the street of Los Angeles. A gang with no central leadership. A gang with no vision or goals. The older generation either incarcerated or too focused on their addiction to care for the hope of the gang's future. It left a huge gap between the original and young generation. But as the saying goes, history repeats itself.Blood WalkWhat We Wear
